This piece was originally commissioned by architects Polly Cooper and Ken Hagard of San Luis Solar Group as an interior door for their new home/office complex.  San Luis Solar Group is one of California’s leading firms in passive solar design.  And their buildings are not only highly functional, but beautiful as well.  For this project I designed five doors, two stair step clerestory windows and the kitchen cabinet faces.  All of the work came out quite nicely.

I do have the artist proof of this panel framed as a wall piece that has been back painted in a deep purple enamel.
